Dear Friend:
Russell
Farm
Art
Center
is a nonprofit organization of working artists dedicated to
creating
fine art and to teaching basic skills to aspiring artists.
While our emphasis is
on wood sculpture, classes are also taught in stone and clay sculpture.
Our picturesque setting, located on a Texas Century Farm, has been used
by painters and sketch artists
who are inspired by the historic structures dating to 1877 and the
beautifully
landscaped terrain surrounding the farm. Our students are invited to
tour our three
galleries, attend seminars and participate in workshops and classes
throughout the year.
Under
the direction of renowned master carver Charlie Boren our
instructors offer a
variety of classes for beginning and advanced artists. Our desire is to
expand our
ability to nurture and teach aspiring artists introducing them to
mediums of expression
not generally taught in other institutions. Our classes are currently
limited by available
space and the Center has embarked on a program of expansion
desiring to add both
studio and classroom areas to our campus .
As
a Texas chartered, 501 (c)(3) non profit organization we are
supported in part by tax
deductible donations graciously given to us by people who believe in
what we are
trying to accomplish, who want to add further to the cultural awareness
of our
community and to foster the growth of artistic talent. We invite you to
come and tour
our campus and see for yourself the impact we are having on
North
Texas .
Won't
you consider adding this worthwhile endeavor to your charitable
giving? 100% of all donations go to the building, equipping
and maintaining of our teaching campus.
Thank you,
Russell
